Hi all,

I am trying to get coLinux (with Debian and KDE 3.3) to run on
my Windows XP machine. The displaymanager is kdm and connected
via XDMCP, using either Xming or Cygwin as the (Windows) Terminal.

My problem is that in most cases, the terminal does not connect
to the remote host, which is however open and listening

"netstat -l | grep xdmcp" gives
udp 0 0 *:xdmcp *:*

"tcpdump -i eth0" reports
....IP 192.168.40.1.1311 > colinux.xdmcp: UDP, length: 7

Strange is the fact that after issuing the tcpdump command and
restarting the X terminal, it connects in almost all cases to
the remote host. However, starting the terminal without a
previous tcpdump shows the above problem.

BTW, my windows firewall has been dactivated.

Any suggestions to get it run all the time?
Thanx, Christian.
