I have been considering an Orbit 2 for use on 3UK Network, but does it work
on 3? I want to use it PAYG initially for use as a modem and for HSDPA data
rates. Any reason for it not working on 3? Do you already use one like
this on 3 Network?

Also want to use it for Skype too.

Thanks

If it's 3G and unlocked I don't see why it won't work. As the XDAs seem to
be supplied by O2 you might need to look into unlocking yours.

Note that Skype advertised by Three isn't normal Skype - it's a voice call
to a server somewhere in the bowels of Three, which converts it to Skype. I
don't know of any software to do this with non-3-Skypephones. You can run
Skype over 3G but it's sent as VOIP (and so might run into latency etc
troubles - I haven't tried it).
