xbox live adapter

Hi...me again with a different question. Why is it that
just about everyday after my son's x-box live has been
shut off for awhile, it won't connect automatically when
he turns it back on? Seems like at least once a day i
have to go back to settings and type in the WEP Security
number and save before he is able to reconnect again.
Does anybody else have problems like this with their
adapter? I don't understand why this keeps happening.

I do not have these problems - If your Xbox Wireless Adapter is failing to
retain settings you may want to contact Microsoft Hardware Support as your
product may have some problems.
