Can anyone get this site to actually complete a speedtest? I keep
getting a message that the connection has timed out.

Other speedtest sites (such as www.speedtest.net) are fine.

If that's the one by BT, it stopped working for me when I left BT.
Are you with BT?

No (ISP has LLU). They recommended using it as my connection speed had
dropped considerably.

But it has worked in the past. Yesterday and this morning it wouldn't
complete the test without timing out. Sometimes I could get as far as
the configured download speed.

Just worked for me however I *am* provisioned on BT Wholesale's network:

I know BT are making some changes to the Speedtester on the 7th Feb, not
aware of any other changes that have happened recently though.

Worked fine for me the other night.

It does say on the homepage that they do get heavy use at peak times.
Have you tried it at non-peak times?

I've just tried it within the last couple of minutes. It measured my
download speed, quoted my IP Prifile bur didn't measure the upload speed
due yto a technical issue - or so it told me.

Do you have any overly agressive malware scanners that are interfering
with the test?

Someone said elsethread that Avast WebGuard interferes with
speedtest.net. Maybe others interfere with the bt one?

Just tried after disabling NIS AV, but same result."The server at
217.32.105.42 is taking too long to respond."
