Hope I'm not considered out of order for the cross-post :-)

Anyone have an ADSL combined router/modem they want to sell me?

Nothing fancy needed, obviously needs to be in good condition and
working, G preferred over B, that's about it.

Please DON'T offer me anything from Linksys :-)

cheers,
Paul

I have got one you can have for £2,657.38 plus postage.

Alternatively you can buy a new one for peanuts AND get a warranty. I
believe the warranty would be rather useful for you.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I have a WAG54G which seems to have the same problem as most WAG54G's
out there (well, usual caveat you usually only read of problems) in that
it just stops doing anything and needs resetting every so often.

Linksys just plough on releasing new models so there hasn't been a
firmware update for around 10 months.

I could probably get it RMA's, I don't recall how long I've had it, but
I need my connection for work and the likes so can't be without in the
meantime.

cheers,
Paul

Hi Paul
I have the adsl gateway WAG54G and not heard of any problems?.
It was recommend by guy at PC World and it has worked flawlessly.
Only problem I have is not able to send/receive emails with XP pro but
can with Linux and XP on my laptop so can`t really blame the router for
that unless stuff going on that I havn`t fathomed yet.
