Hi,
You should approve all the patches. You (or someone else) might one day miss
a computer that does not have all the patches installed before you put it on
the network. In this case, client will go and update itself...
Clients will only download the patches that they are missing and not all the
patches that are approved on WSUS.
There is also a newsgroup microsoft.public.softwareupdatesvcs dedicate to
software updates including WSUS.
