Just curious if the latest drivers for the linksys WPC54G card will
work on Windows 2003 server?

http://www.linksys.com/download/vertxt/wpc54g_ver.txt talks about the
latest drivers.

Someone told me the driver on the CD that comes with the card doesn't
work with Windows 2003.

I usually go to the Linksys site to get card drivers. I have never gotten
the driver from the cd(s) to install properly.

2K3 server is XP. The driver should work, but I wouldn't bet my last dollar
on it.

Just a word of caution. I auditioned the card but what I didn't like was
that having a Compaq computer with TI Cardbus Controller, Linksys was
offering a beta driver on their web site. I missed the driver the first
time since the writing so small and light on the download page for the
WPC54G!

FWIW...

I bought a WPC 54G card and it will not install on my XP Home laptop. I
tried the drivers from the CD as well as those from the site. Linksys
support worked with me, but we were totally unsuccessful with this. Their
support people don't seem to have any idea why it won't install.
