WPA SETTING PROBLEMS

I have a NETGEAR MR814 v2 Wireless Router and a USRobotics
NIC Model 5416.

I have tried to set up a WPA capability in both the Router
and the NIC but I have not been successful yet.

I did use the same "passphrase" in the "WEP encryption
field" in the Router menu and in the NIC setup window.
However, the NIC can not access to the Router or access
point for internet.

Please help if you can. Thanks so much in advance.

You post about WPA problems, but you talk about the "WEP" fields on
your NIC and router configs; could you be accessing the wrong setup
fields?

I've never seen either your router or NIC, so this is just a guess.
