Can anyone tell me if WPA-PSK (TKIP) changes the key automatically, of is
auto key changing only available with RADIUS SERVER?

I am just wanting to know, as I have recently started using WPA-PSK on my
home network, and would like to know whether the key I entered is
automatically changed by the system, or if it remains the same all the time?

Thanks Shelby

I don't think that WPA-PSK uses a Radius server at all. My understanding,
and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, is that there is an
initial key phrase but then WPA-PSK regularly generates new keys for the
session based on this initial starting key. Since the keys are pseudo
random, it is difficult to Sniff a wireless session and then know the next
(or previous) keys.

I presume that if your sessions go up and down a lot then it _might_ be
possible to obtain enough packets using the initial phrase to then determine
what it is, but it's much more difficult that WEP where at most 4 keys are
ever used.
