WPA-PSK missing as an option

I've got a wireless home network based around Belkin 54g. I've had WPA-PSK
working, but had to disable it since one of the PCs ran Windows98. I've now
bought a brand new PC to replace this old one and want to set up PSK.
While I had no difficulty finding PSK options on other Windows XP laptops,
the new desktop options look different. The Wireless network key "Network
Authentication" options are only "Open" and "Shared" whereas others have
"WPA" and "WPA-PSK" options also.
The new PC has latest Windows updates and SP2 - and it wouldn't allow me to
download the SP1 WPA add-on.
I've tried entering the Network Keys using "WEP" option but this wouldn't
work.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

If you aren't offered the choice of WPA, then your hardware doesn't
support it. Check at your wireless adapter mftr.'s website for firmware
updates. If there are no firmware updates, then you would need to
replace the wireless adapter with one that supports WPA.
