WPA for MN-500?

I bought the MN-500 about a year ago and back then MS
said that it would not include WPA encryption. Does
anyone know if they plan to offer it at any point? Or are
they going to force everyone to upgrade to the MN-700? It
seems that it wouldn't be too hard to do with a firmware
upgrade.

None of the 802.11b hardware made by any manufacture at the time the
MN-500 was released supports WPA. I doubt it ever will.

Both the MN-520 and the MN-510 Microsoft Broadband Networking devices have
updates which allow WPA, if you apply the updates listed for the MN-700.

I meant routers. Not the NICs. I should have been more specific.

8-) Good idea, since they're 802.11b devices, too.

How do I do that? Download the MN-700 firmware and
install it manually? From where I get the firmware?
