Hi,

I have a 3com 11g router and I would like to enable WPA.

I have patched my winXP, I now have the "wireless tab" in network
properties.

In router it is possible to enable WPA. But I can not figure how to enable
WPA

in winXP. It has a couple of WPA options and also WEP and TKIP. Can some one

point out the exact configuration?

Also, winXP doesn't let me to enter the WPA key... Is it taken automatically
from the router?

I hope that I have provided enough info, but if I haven't please aks, and I
will find submit it.

/Kim

You probably need to get the Microsoft update for WPA....it's a hotfix
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=815485. Also, make sure you have support
for this with your router and adaptor.
