WPA and 98SE

I've been told that Win98SE does not support WPA(WiFi Protected Access)is
this correct?

Win 98SE doesn't support WiFi at all. You must use the driver and
configuration software provided by the adapter vendor to get WiFi to
work. Check the spec of the adapter for WPA support.

Using the adaptor vendor's software you may get WPA support. Certainly this
was the case for a Belkin USB adaptor that I installed in W98SE.
