I was very upset after upgrading to SP2 and losing my
wireless broadband network on my laptop. I tried for (4)
hours, everything I know couldnt get it back....I almost
said, " screw it , I am uninstalling", but then I looked
up MSBN (microsoft broadband networking) and found the
posts and realized I wasnt alone. I read some post then
found one by "John Singel" . I tried it and it works
again. The post is in this forum but I am going to copy
and paste it for easy reference for everybody stuck like
me. The only thing I had to do that John didnt say in his
post was re-enable my wireless adapter under "device
manager" becuase somehow it got disabled. No biggie .
Thanks alot John , you saved me a headache!!!!! Here is
the post.

If you've installed SP2 and find your MSBN wireless no
longer works (apparently a lot of people have had the
problem) try the following:

1. Click Start.
2. Right-click My Computer.
3. Click Manage.

4. In Computer Management, double-click Services and
Applications.
5. Then click Services.

6. Right-click Wireless Zero Configuration,
7. Then click Properties.

8. In the Startup type box, click to select Disabled.
9. Then click OK.

10. Close Computer Management,
11. Then restart the computer.

It worked for me, maybe it will work for you as well.
..
