Working on 2 different workgroups

I have troubles with my settings for the following
reasons: I run my own network (802.11g wireless) at home.
Just purchased the microsoft base station and note book
adapter. Runs great. But...at work I hook my laptop up to
a different workgroup and i am not able to find my peers.
It should be possible to work with two different
workgroups with one laptop doesn't it? Who can help me
with the settings on this?

The workgroup needs to be changed manually. I would
suggest changing your home workgroup name to match that
at work, if that's the only thing that is different.
