I got two computers setup at home in the same workgroup.
When go to "Computers Near Me" on computer #1, I can see
the other computer name listed however I can not access
its shared folder and I can't even Ping it. However, on
the computer #2, I can Ping computer #1 but don't see
computer #1 in the "Computers Near Me" folder. Any ideas
what's wrong? Your help is greatly appreciated.
thanks.

Computer #2 has a software firewall on it then. At this point it is a
software issue & really off topic over here. I'd suggest posting in the
newsgroup for whatever OS those computers are running.
