Workgroup & Domain

My search of the group showed that this was asked a few
days ago without a response, so I figured that I'd ask
again with more details.

Using a MN-720 wireless adapter in a Compaq Evo 410
running Windows 2000 at home. OS updated with all
critical updates. Base is Netgear WGR614v4. WEP with 128
bit encryption. Networked at work via built-in hardwire
ethernet. Home connection is fine. No problems with net
access or accessing the router's setup software via
wireless. But I can't access shared resources on any of
the other 2 hardwired or 1 other wireless computer on the
home network (all others access each other just fine).
Two hardwired running ME. Wireless running XP home SP2
with a D-Link card.

The Compaq is set up with a Domain from work, and all the
others at home are part of a home workgroup. I've seen
many places in Broadband and Web Help where Microsoft says
when one has this type of setup, NOT to change from the
domain to the workgroup because of issues getting back to
the domain at work. So they've told me what not to do.
Any suggestions as to what I should do to be able to
access the shared resources at home (which was the primary
reason for buying the MN-720)? Thanks in advance. BTW,
if the inability to do this is a known deficiency/flaw in
Windows, it'd help me just to know that so I stop looking
for a solution.

Change the name of the workgroup to the name of the domain. At least
that's what I told people to do when I supported the MN-100 & MN-700.

The only other suggestion I have is contact a Windows group as File &
printer sharing is a Windows issue.
