Can some point me in the direction of where I could read up on domain configuration etc.

What I'm looking to do is create a 2003 server, then have a 2k server running exchange, it needs to be 2k as I only have exchange 5.5, and then to add in a few workstations.

What I'm especially looking for is tips / procedures on adding in the 2k server onto the w2k3 domain.

Exchange 5.5 is not Active Directory aware nor needs to work
on one. Exchange 2000 requires Active Directory (Win 200x)
since it does not use its own reposity.

Therefore, everything should work fine with your setup (even
Ex 5.5 on NT 4 if you choose to do so - not recommended
though as the latter is EOL).
