I recently had the same problem. After reinstalling XP, I couldn't do
anything to get the card to see my router. XP found the card and the
drivers installed, but the light on the card never blinked, and I
couldn't get it to work.
I gave up. Went and bought a Microsoft wireless G card. It worked
immediately. Linksys should be ashamed of their poor XP support. A
quick search shows we're not the only ones.
