I have 2 servers (both W2K SP3) with NLB configured so that they can load
balance http requests. I am using Multicast MAC, and the switch has been
configured with the Multicast MAC-->Unicast IP settings. The port rules on
both servers are identical.

Server A shows convergence with itself and Server B. Server B shows only
convergence with itself. As both servers are configured identically (apart
from their dedicated IP addresses), i'm at a loss as to why one server can
converge with the other, but the other cannot reciprocate.

Can anybody shed any light on a possible cause of this please?

R.

Port rules not being identical on all WLBS cluster hosts are the major cause
of convergence problems. But, since you stated that the port rules on both
servers are identical, and that one of the servers reports full convergence,
the only things I can think of is to examine your Event Log for further
details on the problematic host and try applying W2K SP4 to the servers to
see if that resolves the problem.
