I've got a D-Link DWL122 dongle on a Debian machine running kernel
2.4.21-5-686. I followed the directions and installed linux-wlan-ng
version 0.2.1-pre17 (the latest deb is 0.2.0, and the DWL122 is only
supported on 0.2.1-pre13 and newer). Things work more or less okay, but
after a few minutes, I get the following:
kernel: linkstatus=DISCONNECTED (unhandled)
kernel: linkstatus=CONNECTED
usually the 'CONNECTED' message comes just a second or so after the first
message. Sometimes (like once last week) it just didn't come back.
Questions:
What do the messages mean?
How to prevent them from showing up on console (tried what I thought was
the correct modification of syslogd.conf)
