Hi there.

Problem:
I connect an IBM T41 laptop with intel 2100 wlan adapter(centrino)
with WinXP Pro to a Linksys BEFW11S4 v.2 router. The wireless
connection works fine and do not drop, the laptop is not able to reach
the GW however.

I have found that disbling and then re-enabling the intel 2100 adapter
corrects the problem. The interface resets and after this i can ping
the GW and surf the web no probs.

I have tried enabling/disabling web key SSID etc. I have upgraded the
firmware at router, adapter SW. I have tried disabling Windows Zero
Config and using Intel Proset instead to manage adapter. No change.

Summary: I can get the wireless part to work just fine but is unable
to get IP connectivity until reset of adapter....?

Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thx.

I have similar problem. At first I thought It was the access point, however
after doing a little investigation I have discovered that it is in fact the
Centrino Wireless. It is almost as if the connection goes to sleep, yet I
have all power management turned off. I am not sure what it is, but it is
annoying.
