WLAN 11Mbps USB1.1 adapter

What is the performance of a WLAN 802.11b USB1.1 adapter compared to
the same device with USB 2.0?
As the speed of USB1.1 is 12Mbps and the WLAN802.11b spec. is max.
11Mbps, there is no need for USB2.0 speed on this specification, or am
I wrong here?
I have not seen a WLAN802.11g USB2.0 adapter yet, do they exist?

Depends on what else you are running USB, as the bandwidth is shared by all
usb devices on that usb channel. Not normally a problem, as most systems
with over 2 usb ports have multiple channels as well, but a usb printer and
an usb Wlan on the same channel will slow each other down. How much? Might
not be noticable, might really have an impact. Trying a USB webcam with the
USB Wlan adapter will definately show an impact.
