Wirelesss connection

I have installed a USB Wireless adapter and it says that is working properly
but I don't see anything that tell me what connection is availabel.
Somebody can help me ?

If you see the wireless icon on the desktop lower bar, right click on it and
select "view available network". I am assuming that your drivers are all
installed.

Also, right-click on "My computer" ->properties->hardware->device
manager->network adapters. See if your device is connected.
