wirelesss adapter question

Hey i just bought the wireless adapter and when i go
through the set up for it it says to type in the ip
adres, the gateway, and the sub mask, i do and it tells
me that my gateway is incorrect when it is the one i got
off of my comp. from the network details. If anyone knows
how to do it please e mail me thanks peace

Are you using a router or creating an ad-hoc network?
Also which card? MN720?

Typically, you set the adapter to pull a dynamic IP
through DHCP from the router -- this does not ask for an
IP, mask or gateway.
