wireless zerocfg problem

dell inspiron 8600 windows xp
recently on boot up wireless icons connects halfway thru boot, then at end
of boot
disconnects and reconnects, with a wireless zerocfg error notice.
no recent changes.
tried-disable/enable, reinstall adapters, stopping service
nothing works.

any help appreciated. thank you.
