Wireless Zero Configuration service keeps stopping

Hi there,

Wireless on my PC was working fine without problem but I started to have an
issue after I clean installed Windows XP Home and then upgraded to XP
Professional. Then I installed the wireless driver for the wireless card
(Dell Wireless 1370 WLAN Mini-PCI Card). After that, wireless works but it
does with one condition. Each time I reboot my PC or disabled wireless
connection, wireless connection is automatically disabled because Wireless
Zero Configuration service keeps stopping. To recover the wireless
connection, I have to start Wireless Zero Configuration service (to get the
Wireless Networks tab), then go to the Wireless connection's Properties -
Wireless Networks tab, and then click on Use Windows to configure my...
check box to activate my wireless network. I have to do this each time. I
reinstalled the wireless driver but it didn't fix the issue. I also
performed Repair Installation for Windows XP Pro but it still didn't fix the
issue. Can anyone help?

Thank you,
greensky

Hi Jack,

Yes, it helped. I turned off "Let this tool manage your wireless settings"
option on the wireless card utility, it fixed. Awesome! Thank you!!!
