First of all I apologize if I am posting something that has been already
answered, I just cannot find that thread.
I am trying to connect a laptop running XP Pro to a network running Server
2003. I am trying to get the wireless laptop be able to login to the server
and get access to network resources but the problem is that the wireless
connects to the network only after the user has typed in name and password
and logged in without authenticating. By that time, the server doesn't even
know that user exists because it never got the connection attempt and so it
doesn't share internet or network resources with the user. Can someone
please help me get the laptop to connect to the network before or at the
same time that it is authenticating with the server? The wireless card is a
Linksys wpc54g. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.
