Hi,
Perhaps somebody here can help me. I'm newbie an and don't
know where to search my configuration fault. My aim: WPA
TKIP, DHCP (the AP Fritz!Box SL WLAN makes DHCP).

rt2500-1.1.0-b3.tar.gz (GPL-Driver) installed.

modprobe rt2500 ->
office:/etc/sysconfig/network # lsmod | grep 2500
rt2500 166052 0

/etc/Wireless/RT2500STA/RT2500STA.dat:

after ifconfig ra0 inet 192.168.178.0 up I get:

No working leases in persistent database - sleeping.

(the recordet lease is from a old WEP-Config, configured
with iwconfig)

The access point is configured with WEB / TKIP.
office:/etc/sysconfig/network # iwlist scanning

Is the AP reacting?
Are there debug options?
Is my problem a DHCP problem only?

thx

Last I looked, the only way to connect to a WPA network with GNU/Linux was
to use the wpa_supplicant daemon. It works with a variety of drivers.
