There could be a switch or set of hot keys that can turn your hardware on
and off. My dell has a double key function where I hold the FN key on the
lower left, then tap the key across the top that has the icon of a wireless
signal.
Sometimes I find that I need to reset everything by unplugging my cable
modem, router and turning off all my computers, then plug back in the modem,
router and turn the computers back on (in that order) to get everything
connected again.
Then you need to be sure you don't have a firewall that might be blocking
one of your connections. You say it was connected, so I assume that you have
verified that all your computers have different names and are set up to use
the same network. (system properties.. you can right click on the icon "my
computer" and click the properties to find your computer name and assigned
network)
