My MA111 has worked fine on a Dell Inspiron 5000e laptop. I just
installed it on a Dell Dimension L1000r desktop. It took three
separate installs (with un-installs in between) and several reboots to
get the drivers (Version 1.1) working. The first two installs showed
! in Device Manager for the adapter and said that the drivers couldn't
start.

If it can log onto the router, the MA111 is working fine. Something
else is causing the problems with computers seeing each other.

Be sure to install the driver and the wireless configuration program
before connecting the MA111 for the first time. After that, plug the
adapter in after Windows 98 has finished booting, and unplug it before
shutting down -- having the adapter connected during startup/shutdown
can cause system crashes or hangs.
