Wireless user level

I had a Windows XP pro computer set up with wireless using a Trendnet USB
adapter. Everything worked fine until I decide to change the User level
from Administrator to basic User. Or add a User with just User level
authority.
So right now the wireless does not work unless I switch them back to
Administrator or use the Admin account.

Any ideas greatly appreciated. These kids are going to kill this computer
if they have Admin powers.

You could put their accounts in the 'Power User' group. This would give the
same rights as an Administrator, except that they could not:

- Access other users' data without permission
- Delete or modify user accounts they did not create

Thanks for the tip.
I have since tried this on another computer with another USB adapter and
there does not seem to be any problem with running wireless under basic
User accounts. So I think now it is just something specific to that
particular USB adapter/driver or it just needs to be reinstalled or maybe
struck sharply with a mallet.

Yes, this may be a problem specific to your adapter.
Try to contact vendor's support.
