I have a DG834G V2 and it only covers part of my house.
I am looking to upgrade, so wondered what would be the best option?

1. Fit something like this
http://www.wirelesspro.co.uk/products/ANT-24-OM-9-DUCK/ to the existing
setup.
2. Upgrade to the DG834PN and use the MIMO system with new adaptors. (£69.99
for router and adaptor, £28.50 PCMIA card)
3. Upgrade to the DG834N and have to fork out for a new laptop adaptor as
well as desktop and feel the cost. (£60 for router and £60 for USB Card,
plus £35 for PCMIA)

All help and advice is appreciated.
Thanks

Other options (sorry!):

- HomePlug - networking over your electrical sockets - HomePlug ethernet
bridges seem to be available. Alternatively, you can get HomePlug access
points:
http://www.broadbandbuyer.co.uk/Shop...CategoryID=336
http://www.solwise.co.uk/net-powerline-pl-85pew.htm
You could buy HomePlugs online and return them under the DSR if they
didn't work.

- Or, use a wireless repeater in the middle of the house.

I quite like to experiment with the homeplug bridge idea, but I have no
use for wireless myself.

Just seems a bit pricey to spend £120 when it might not be an ideal
solution. Thanks though.
