Yes. However, if the printer is not connected to *any* computer, then it
needs to be a "network-ready" printer (i.e., one with a built-in network
interface, either wired or wireless) or you have to purchase a print
server (wired or wireless).
Basically, the printer must be connected to your router and get its own
IP address. Some routers have a built-in USB print server. Otherwise,
you have to connect the printer to the router either with an Ethernet
cable or wirelessly. By way of example, this is a fairly elaborate (and
thus probably a bit expensive) Linksys print server that can connect to
the router by wire or wireless and can also handle multifunction
printers (not all can do so):
