wireless security key incorrect?

i have set up my wireless basestation, but now when i try
to set up and connect my laptop with the wireless card,
it comes up saying that the wireless security key is
incorrect. i made the floppy and came up with this. i
got the 26 character code and have been trying to put it
in, but it still comes up saying that the key is
incorrect. how do i fix this?
