Hi,

I'd like to know if there're wireless routers whose wireless interface can
be configured to act as a bridge?
I'm soon to connect my home lan to that of a friend who's 400m away(line of
sight). I thought the best solution would be to link the 2 via two identical
routers that also connect to the internet. If all goes well we could even do
away with one of the internet connections and use a common one.
Is this possible or do we have to buy two access points to link the two
lan's in bridge mode?

The point is that we think that using wireless routers would be cheaper than
having the AP and the router as separate entities.

Any suggestions will be most welcome.
