Hello,

I have just got BT ADSL Broadband at home, and I'd like to set up a
wireless network at home, but don't really know what equipment to get.
I've looked on Amazon at the Linksys EtherFast Wireless Cable/DSL
Router BEFW11S4, but it says it needs an Ethernet ready modem, which I
suspect the BT one isn't.

Can anyone give me some advice, or suggest where else I should look?

Thanks,

John.

The Draytek Vigour 2600We would do the trick, I have the full blown W
version with ISDN too just in case. At £200 they are not the cheapest, but
are very powerful.

Or try the Netgear DG824M wireless router/ADSL modem you can get it for
around £130 from the likes of www.dabs.com www.ebuyer.com
What you will aswell are wireless pc cards, get the same brand as the
router.

An Ethernet modem is a modem which plugs into your Ethernet port on your pc,
the BT modem is a USB modem.
