Hi Peeps,
Thanks to those that sent me messages of advice!
I've fixed the problem........im so foolish sometimes!
I tested the connection with my former modem and it was fine, and the
adsl screen inthe router setup read the connection too. I set all the
Internet Explorer settings fine, no proxy needed, plus checked the
wireless properties as well as making IP automatic and tested with a
dns specified and also set to pickup automatically.
So when i found out the connection works, i played about a bit. You
guys are gonna think im a plonker here, i then specified teh default
gateway. From advice i read on net, i specified at first the one given
by the isp. nothing. naff all.
Specified 192.168.0.1, my routers ip....
Google only bloody worked didnt it!! lol
Ya live and learn!

Cheers all!
Ian.
