Wireless router history / log file?

Do wireless broadband routers keep a history or log file similar to IE's
history file?

Hi
IE keeps the history of the URLs that you visited.
Some Routers keep a log of the traffic that passes through them, there might
be variation in the info that is logged between Router's models and brands.
Example of my Router's log:
[ALLOW:dynamic.anandtech.com] Source: 192.168.1.15 Tuesday, 02 May 2006
23:37:28
[ALLOW:www.ezlan.net] Source: 192.168.1.15 Tuesday, 02 May 2006 23:38:52
Look at your Router's Manual to see if and how your Router keeps the log (if
it is keeping one).

The D-link models I own only keep a 20 page FIFO log with no memory
retention after rebooting or a power reset. Details reported are mainly
debug info, attacks, computer connections to the network etc. depending on
what reporting options were set. The only way to keep a running record is to
have the logs emailed to yourself, which is a built in feature.
