Wireless router to connect to peripherals?

Hi,

I connect my wireless-enabled laptop to the Net using a wireless router. The
router has four LAN ports and one WAN, plus WLAN.

Can I also wirelessly link the laptop to peripherals such as printer,
scanner, etc? (The peripherals have only USB ports, not ethernet.)

If the answer is yes, how do I do it and what other hardware do I need?

Thanks in advance for all helpful advice and comments.

Sorry, I should have made it clear that I want to connect to the peripherals
via the router. Thanks.

Depending on the printer, you most likely can buy a "print server" that
will provide an interface between the router and the printer. For
example only, Linksys has a couple: http://tinyurl.com/2bm3zs and
http://tinyurl.com/2292w5 The other consumer wireless companies (D-Link,
Netgear, etc., have similar products).

Until relatively recently, the generally-accepted wisdom was that
functions other than printing (e.g., scanning) don't work well (or at
all) through print servers. That said, however, starting this past
January, Linksys began offering a wireless print server that it claims
will give you "full access to printing, faxing, scanning, and copying
functions": http://tinyurl.com/39je8v I haven't seen any reviews of this
device, so I can't tell you how reliable/functional it is.

Hi
There is stand alone USB Printer servers that can be connected to one of the
Router's LAN port, plugging a printer to this server should (in principle)
make it a Network printer.
However read this since it is not a straight forward affair,
