Wireless router and network storage

I've got the Netgear DG834G wireless router and was thinking about getting
the Netgear SC101 Storage Central - my question is has anyone yet combined
the above two products, possibly with a wireless print server in an
all-in-one unit? Or does any manufacturer have any plans to do so?

Don't know about you guys but I just don't see the point in getting so many
individual such devices and connecting them all up when putting them all
together would makes sense, especially in the home consumer environement
where lack of clutter is quite important.

Any thoughts or comments most welcome.

There are already all in one devices that will perform the roles of
router/storage/firewall etc.

They're called servers!

Take a look at Clark Connect (http://www.clarkconnect.com/) which is a
Linux distro that has been stripped down to provide a "home gateway" and
should do everything you want. It's configured via a web browser and you can
use an old PC with 2 network cards (or 1 NIC and a modem card) to run it as
a router with firewall and security tools, along with file, print, web,
e-mail, proxy, antivirus, antispam, content filtering, VPN servers etc.

As for your second comment -With the comodotisation of small appliances
using ASICs and embedded OSs to perform single tasks a lot of people are
saved the expense of a dedicated server. The average (non sys-admin) home
user can now have a wireless router, firewall and NAS box for under £200 -
no operating system licenses or extraneous functionality, just simple tools
to carry out what would be a complex job if you had to get a dedicated
server to do it. I don't suppose it will be long though, before NAS devices
start appearing in routers.

The closest is this: http://www.netgear.com/products/details/WGT634U.php

Ebuyer are selling it, but the product is not listed on
http://www.netgear.co.uk/

IMO, it doesn't make so much sense for the manufacturers, since it
multiplies the number of products. Also, the more logically seperate devices
you put in one box, the more likely one of them will fail and the whole
thing becomes junk (since repair is generally "uneconomic").
