Hi everyone,

I am collecting some information on wireless networking components. I have
never used any wireless networking at all and I know absolutely nothing
about it or its protocols, etc. I have however done a number of networking
jobs using routers, switches, etc, all wired. Now I am looking for a
wireless cable/dsl router, two wireless pc networking cards, and a pcmcia
wireless card for my laptop. I would appreciate any help that could be
provided, such as brands and protocols to look for in my search.

Thanks,

Corey

In my opinion, stay away from DLink. I'm very happy with Linksys products.

I have a D-link 614+ Version A that works perfectly right out of the box
with easy set up. Check this web site for a wealth of information on home
networks.
