All versions of 802.11 are capable of much more throughput than commonly
available internet access. At 11 Mb/s even 802.11b is several times faster
than a DS1 at 1.544 Mb/s. So, if internet access is your main concern,
802.11b is fine. On the other hand, if you want to do lots of local server
access, perhaps one of the faster systems would be suitable.
