Wireless problem every 3 minutes

I have at pretty frustrating problem. Before Christmas I bought the
following:

a.. FujitsuSiemens Connect2air WLAN AP-500 RP (Wireless router)
b. FujitsuSiemens Connectbird Wireless LAN USB set (Wireless network
card)

The network is working great on my WindowsXP, but only for precisly 3
minutes, then
it disconnects. But I can reconnect medially after?!?!?

What's wrong and how do I fix it?
