I have recently acquired a notebook computer with wireless modem. Is there a
simple way to be able to use my notebook through Netgear wired router?

Krishna

Most laptops with a wireless modem will also have an ethernet
connection. If yours has one, just plug it in to the router using the
appropriate cable and set it up on the network. If not, you may be
able to find a cheap PCMCIA card providing networking capability. Or
you could get a wireless router like the MR814, which also has 4 wired
connections.

Yes, you can get a wireless (AP) Access Point and plug it into the router.
You will then be able to use the wireless lap with the Netgear router. It
will be the same as if you hooked it up with a wire.
