The subject says it all -- I've got a Netgear MR814 802.11b Wireless
4-Port Cable/DSL Router and a Netgear ME101 Wireless Ethernet Bridge.
I am all set to return these items but don't know what to replace them
with -- the music server (Slimp3 unit plugged into the ME101) keeps
dropping out. I am also far too invested in a 2.4 Ghz cordless system
to back out (5 Seimens phones, 1 base), and the last thing we are
ready to do is stop microwaving and throw out the baby monitor. That
said, my new Netgear setup is not happy -- Distance could also be an
issue b/c the stereo is upstairs and the router is in the basement.
So -- anyone have suggestions? I'm new to wireless, have read the
archives, but haven't gotten a good sense as to what my options are
and/or what products might be best.
