I recently installed a Surecom EP-9321 802.11b pci adapter. I got it all
working fine except it seems that network activity randomly bluescreens my
pc with a IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and once a DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
This only seems to happen when the network is active. If i disable the
hardware or click the "radio off" button.. effectively unplugging the card
from the network. MY pc runs fine. It also seems to be reasonably random. It
might go fine for a day.. but then crash.. and after it crashes once it
generally seems to crash quite frequently after that.
Windbg pints to netapi32.dll as the cause of the problem for the first error
and believes MSVCRT.dll to be the problem in the second.
I tried uninstalling service pack 4.. which appeared to work fine for a day,
but then it started crashing again the next day.
The card appears to work fine on a windows 98 computer.
Has anyone else had a similar problem? Im still trying to figure out if its
my pc setup, the card, or the card's win2k drivers causing this problem.
I'm running windows 2000 (sp3 tho sp4 didn't work either)
512mb ram
soltek sl-75drv4 motherboard
Any light anyone could shed on the matter would be most appreciated.
