Hi, I use Win Me and Win XP in one machines.

I have Edimax wireless card.
When i connect to my AP from win xp my conection speed
superb and it does not toake long to configure.
I tried with both win XP config and card utility config.
Both working fine.

Problem:
When i installed the card with win Me. It even some times
does not identify the AP as well.
But after couple of refreshes it finds the AP.
When i connect with it it shows poor connectivity
comparing to win xp data rate like 175kbps to 30 kbps.

in the utiliy window signal strengths appear same in both
OS

Please help me, what could cause things slowing down in ME.
I even tried reinstalling drivers no use.

help appreciated

Thank you

ME needs to be tweaked. Get drtcp from dslreports.com and set the MTU to no
more than 1492, It appears you have a Verizon DSL hookup. Setting the RWin
value higher may not hurt either.
