Wireless networking on Sony Laptop

Hi All,
I got a new sony laptop. Now I want to use the wireless card for network. I
am running linux os. Any idea,tips or howtos on how to do it.
Any help would be appreciated...

I recommend Orinoco cards (often available on Ebay).
They work well with the kernel orinoco_cs WiFi module.
(I'm using a Lucent Orinoco Gold card now on my Sony C1VFK now.)
