I don't know about the games themselves. You may want to
check on a game forum for compatibility of those games
with 802.11g.
You can connect the two computers in ad-hoc mode without
having to connect to the Internet. You should also look
how far the computers are, and for potential interference
from handheld phones, microwaves, refrigerator, etc.
